Movie in one line:
If it had been better movie we could have called it a tribute to Lage Raho...but now we should call it a copy of LageRaho...if not a bad copy.
Good things:
Well the concept of movie is a good one.Gandhigiri.The original version was such a hit that Gandhigiri has become real tool for many social issues.Here we should say Hatsoff to makers of original.
Music : Devi's audio is good.
Performance : Srikanth did a good job as ATM,but his role limited first 2hrs of the movie.But still his action in comedy,sentiment is a worth a mention.Chiranjeevi is good at times but he was way better in SD MBBS.
Not so Good things and negatives:
Well the first and fore most negative about this movie is ...the idea of making this movie.Frankly they should not have remade it.Basically chiru being hero of masses...his fans expect songs,fights which they miss in this movie as the concept of the movie is against them.Not only this is thr reason...the original is big hit that almost 50% of AP population might have seen it and this movie (SDZ) doesnt give a impression of watching a new movie.
Chiranjeevi : Megastar sir..its time for restropection.Retrospection for deciding about your next step.Take care about ur looks,charm.Think twice before starting ur next project.
Heroine : Though there was huge negative talk on heorine.I found her OK.
Quality : The worst.Looks like old reels have been used for this movie.THere is no freshness.
Lack of Innovation : What did prabhudeva do???Can some one answer this?Even if i directed i wud have come up with the same movie if not a better one.Where is the creativity of the director? Or was he ordered not to change anything from original??Sequence to sequence,.,scene to scene ..dialogue to dialogue...directly lifted form original.Atleast the issues solved by Chiru on radio...they should have added different issues.If you observe..there r few new scenes added.MS narayana's cpl of scnes and venumadhav's ranganayaki scene.Believe me..these are the only scenes where i had a laugh on my face.
Dances : Did really Prabhu deva work for the movie?? i doubt.
Final word: I dont know how a person , who didnt see the original ,feel about SDZ.But as a person who watched and liked LRMB ,this movie can easily be skipped.It offers nothing new and even charm of chiru is missing.
DADA Rates it 5.5/10.
KILL PIRACY : Watch this movie in theatres else please dont watch it.Thank You

hey i saw this movie this weekend and i found it ok..timepass movie..i agree with most of ur comments, but i didn't feel bored while watching it! Not a great movie, but can give it a chance.

Didnt watch the movie SDZ, once i watch the movie then i can say whether i agree with you or not?
but one thing is correct that "No innovation" from the director, and the thing is no one asked/ordered him not to change the original one but Prabu deva himself is like that, for example Pokiri (Tamil) is a scene to scene copy from telugu. Prabu is not fit for direction, his first movie was excellent but Pournami was the worst movie till date i have ever seen, so i think its Chiru's mistake to give a chance to Prabu.
